We finished third in the Wild Goose Chase. The race starts near the Cambridge Marina and stretches to The Choptank Light near Oxford. After circling the light, the fleet returns to finish at Green Can 3 near the Cambridge Marina, 14 nautical miles in total.

During the year we had two first place finishes beating Touché who finished first in all categories.
The handicap system (PHRF) helps since my Tanzer 22 is the smallest and therefore slowest rated boat in the fleet. Despite our rating, we were able to beat Touché without any handicap adjustment in the last race of the season. That meant overcoming a 2 minute per mile advantage.
We finished second in both and also had enough points to win second place overall for the 2014 season.
