BIG LOU cuts a slot

BIG LOU is a Maryland State tug boat that docks in the Cambridge Creek.  In the past two weeks the ice has thickened to about two inches. BIG LOU assumed the task of clearing the channel. Some watermen are still working the river despite the chill factor. With an upcoming dose of the "Polar Vortex" navigating should become more challenging.
All things considered, Eastern Shore winters are more tolerable than the Philadelphia suburb winters.

 The slot..
 Cracking away..
